Become a Licensed Practitioner

As a Licensed Practitioner you will be fully trained and supported to deliver the Circles for Learning programme in your school

Circles for Learning is a uniquely inspiring project for KS1-KS3 and because of this the teachers or headteachers who introduce it tend to be unique too.

Those who train as Circles for Learning Licensed Practitioners are looking for new and exciting ways to develop children and young people who have better emotional literacy. The Circles for Learning programme also positively impacts pupil mental health and wellbeing and has been proven to create better relationships and kinder, more compassionate classrooms where empathy and self-regulation thrive.

The training is ideal for teachers, SENCOs, pastoral leads, ELSA’s nurture practitioners, Thrive practitioners, wellbeing assistants and other staff who want to make a lasting difference to their school’s pupils.

Deepen Your Understanding With Online Training

The Supporting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools package is made of online training modules. Each course has been designed to provide school staff with the practical tools and strategies they need to help improve the outcomes for children and young people. Courses are supported by an experienced and qualified online coach, with each module equivalent to 20 hours of CPD. They include a selection of tasks for the practitioner to undertake with the help of your coach.

The Brain, Learning & Behaviour

Research clearly highlights that supporting both staff and children and young people (CYP) to understand how the brain triggers emotions and affects learning, creates deeper understanding of our emotions and behaviours.

Self Discovery

A strong positive self-image supports our mental health and wellbeing as well as our ability to achieve. This module explores how the foundations for self-esteem are laid early in a child’s life and helps practitioners understand that the picture we create of ourselves is a personal construct that has developed from the responses of others and internal reflections.
